Older hotel, but good amenities. Clean pools, variety of foods. This place rates a 3/5, but the service I received from Daniel (a waiter), makes this place is a 5/5. Daniel went above and beyond to make sure my favourite drink was made, jalapeño margaritas. Thank you Daniel!
This was my first time in Mexico and Canto Del Sol. The staff were great, the rooms were comfortable, buffets were good and the entertainment was awesome I definitely enjoyed the karaoke nights
Rooms are ok, a little dated. Luckily I stayed in a villa on the beach which was beautiful and had an amazing view. The jacuzzi flooded, as well as the kitchen sink. The shower had no second door so water got everywhere on the bathroom floor. The phones in the room didn’t work. The good thing is guest services was right on it and took care of each problem. They were amazing and helped as much as they could everytime. The food was ok. Not the greatest. Except the Italian restaurant, it was really good. The pools were all maintained well and the resort itself was very nice, except for having to cross the bridge to see people on the other side of the street. The drinks were good, the staff was friendly and helpful. Very pleasant. Location was great. Not too far from the airport and very close to Malecon. Overall a good experience.
The hotel we found clean and nice. The food always had several excellent choices. The a-La cart were delicious. The staff was excellent. Happy to help, say hello and get what you would like. Javier was extra helpful and remembered what we preferred. Daniel was energetic and helpful too. The beach was pleasant but the waves were a bit much some days to go swimming some 10+ feet. Thanks for the excellent holiday. We would definitely come again if we can.
I love this place. Great ocean views all good. This is an old place. The staff is great. The fruit is so so. Has Tennis wonderful. Mexican restaurant fantastic. Italian restaurant fantastic. Surf and turf on the lana. Not good. But the service is great. Evening entertainment wow. I would recommend this place at any time.
I very much enjoyed my stay here. The food was good. The rooms were clean. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The pools and the beach were all lovely. Would definitely go back again.
Just returned home from a nice relaxing week at Canto del Sol all inclusive hotel. Check in process was fast and easy. Our bellhop gladly grabbed our bags and ushered us to our room across the road to the mountain section rooms. We were located far from the beach and main pool but had a nice poolside room on the second floor at the small pool that was nice and quiet. The room was very nice and big, kitchen, full size fridge and freezer, living room and dining table. The bathroom is nice. The bedroom has a comfortable bed and pillows. When we arrived there were no towels, hand towels or wash cloths which they corrected immediately after dialing 0 for housekeeping. The room was clean and everything was in good working condition. We had a nice table and chairs on our patio overlooking the pool area. The service from start to finish was impeccable at this hotel. The meals from buffet to reservation meals were amazing and delicious. The swim up bar was out of order during our entire stay but no issues with getting our own beverages at the bar or they have a few drink servers around the main pool. The NYE party on the beach was epic with steak, lobster, chicken,pork, sides and many desserts. Good spot for viewing all of the fireworks. We both loved the authentic feel of this hotel and would recommend to friends and family. Many small screaming children everywhere and the last night we lost water in our room that was restored in the morning would be the only improvements we'd recommend. Gracias!
